Mission San Francisco de Asís, commonly known as Mission Dolores, is the oldest intact building in San Francisco. Founded in 1776, it continues to serve both as an active Catholic parish and a historic landmark open to visitors.

The site includes the original adobe mission chapel as well as the 19th-century Basilica. The Basilica is wheelchair accessible via a ramped entrance located on 16th Street, just around the corner from the main entrance on Dolores Street.

Many of our performances, including our annual holiday concerts, take place at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, a beautiful and historic venue with limited accessibility.

Entry to the church requires climbing several steps, and the sanctuary is located upstairs. A chair lift is available for guests who are able to transfer independently; however, the venue does not currently offer a wheelchair-accessible entrance. There is also no designated accessible parking, though street parking may be available nearby.

We understand these limitations may make attending in person difficult for some guests.
